Beach Wedding Invitations - for the alternative wedding by Tim Olden

Beach Wedding Invitations are what they say, a wedding on the beach or by the beach. Pick from the many wonderful holiday brochures of perfect white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, sailing boats, sunset, palm trees, coral and seashells.

This is becoming the increasingly popular way for family and friends to enjoy an alternative wedding. As the cost of putting on weddings back home becomes increasingly more expensive, this is the ideal way to celebrate your union with family and friends. For them to enjoy the day and also to have a holiday with their friends and the family. Something to be remembered for life.

Beach weddings can be casual or they can be formal. Usually you can be seen walking up the beach, no shoes on, leaving your footprints on the sand. A romantic, storybook wedding. Your guests will be pleased to know that they don't have to dress so formally and sandals and shorts are more the thing to be seen in, as opposed to top tail and hats, which would be uncomfortable.

Plus when you have a beach wedding, you have the social life that's brought in as well. So you can enjoy, not the just the day, not just the evening, but you can enjoy the holiday playing beach volleyball, running with children, little ones, playing with them in the sand, making sand castles. It can be a whole experience for the whole party, more so than you would get back home.

Now the most important thing about a beach wedding invitation is choosing the right invitations. You can find them in many places, specialist designers, specialists companies. You can find them at your print shop, your local print shop. They may have some on the shelf; they may print some especially for you. The Internet is another wonderful place to find large varied selection of invitations.

The wording is paramount. You need to know that your guests are informed well in advance. More so than normal wedding stationery as they need to be able to book holidays, perhaps a year in advance with their work and their company. They need to take time off. So either a save-a-date card before the actual invitation to inform them that they should save that particular date for your wedding and put it aside and book their holiday time. When you send out your invitations, you should indicate to people what sort of event it will be.

And whether it be formal, black tie, tails or whether it be sandals and shorts. You obviously need to tell them where the function is going to be. Whereabouts - where in the world it's going to be, so they can make sufficient preparations for the weather and for vaccinations, if need be. You need to have an RSVP so that people will return their interest and commitment so that you can then book for them in advance a party booking. You need to make sure that deposits are also taken in. So there's a lot of organization in having weddings abroad. But the pros, I think, far outweigh the cons. You get more out of it than you would in a normal wedding at less expense.

If you need to know anymore about beach wedding invitations , then we are specialists in this field. We can produce wonderful invitations from our vast range or you can cherry pick from various designs or design your own. So if you say to me, you're getting married in a hotel in Thailand and you want to be seen on surfboard, you know we can create something for you. Whatever your individual requirements, we can do it. Look no further, look no further to the links below.

The Country Of The Sun

While I'm sure you're aware of the land of the free, it's a pretty common phrase, have you ever heard of the land of the sun? Well, you may not have, but then again you probably have at some point. The Costa del Sol, whose name means "Coast of the sun", has recently been becoming rather well known as an excellent destination, both for holidays and retirement.

Whether you intend to purchase a holiday home, or are simply looking for a good vacation spot, the south coast of Spain has whatever you could want. In most cases, when you want somewhere to go for a holiday, there is some reason not to visit a particular area. this is not the case in Spain, though. Whatever you want to do on holiday, you can do it in the Costa del Sol.

If you just want to lounge on the beach, well, I suppose you coud do that- although there is really so much more on offer. If this is all you want to do, then I suggest you go down in the winter. It's sunny and warm all year round, but there are fewer tourists in the winter months. So don't worry abou it being cold there. No snow in spain, unless you want some- and then you just have to head up a nearby mountain.

To be honest with you, I suppose that there is one downside. The countryside is so attractive, you might not be willing to leave. Which would be a real tragedy for whatever company you work for in your home town. To give you one example, the Costa del Sol city of Marbella is renowned for its quality nightlife, including high class theatres which are (naturally) showing an ever-changing selection of shows.

In addition to the more common holiday attractions, which you can find almost anywhere else, Costa del Sol has a great number of other holiday activities for you. I've already referred tot eh mountains, which offer not only exceptional snow sports in the winter, but are also a good place for biking, hiking, or climbing during the warmer months.

Closer to the ocean, you can go horseback riding, tour the safari parks and zoos, or spend the day at Tivoli World- one of the biggest fun parks in Spain, and something you're inner child will never forgive you for missing!

Not only this, but the Costa del Sol is host to over 50 golf courses, some of the best in the world. If safari isn't your thing, then you might be interested in playing on some of the worlds most beautiful greens.
Then down by the sea there is every watersport imaginable, from water-skiing to scuba diving to swimming with dolphins, although I'm not sure that qualifies as a sport! Plus, from the shores of Costa del Sol, you can see some incredible scenery.

The nearby mountains fill the horizon, while across the water the shores Africa are visible. If you only intend on taking one holiday in your life, and want to go somewhere special, then go to Spain. The Costa del sol can be reached via a single flight from any major city in the world, and property there is going so fast that if you want to buy a place, you had better do so now- before the costs rise beyond all belief.

Of course, that makes it a very good investment, which you can use as a holiday home while you wait to profit. In any case, it's a great place to visit.

Lanta Island - Krabi Thailand so nice. by darksingha

Ko Lanta lied on the west coast of Andaman Sea in between Krabi
and Phi Phi Island .

Large Size Island with 6 km wide and over 30 kms long, 9 beaches lie from north to south along the sunset coast. Stunning scenery, fantastic white sandy beaches, coastlines have more than 70 small islands and plenty with forest, coral reefs and under water life. Exposed to the Tsunami hit southern Thailand , Koh Lanta got very little physical affected. She has been quietly recovering with most hotels operating normally.

Koh Lanta was very fortunate in that no damage occurred to the natural scenic beauty. All the beaches remain as beautiful as ever. All dive sites did not suffer in the disaster, rather the water is cleaner and clearer than ever.

How to get Ko Lanta
Ko Lanta is easy and inexpensive to reach from Phuket, Bangkok or Malaysia . The island is serviced by passenger ferries from both Krabi & Phi Phi and car ferries from the mainland.

Krabi is the most convenient gateway to Ko Lanta if coming from Bangkok, and if arriving from Phuket passage is via either Phi Phi or Krabi. Trang also serves as a regional transit point for those coming in from the south.

Please bear in mind that if your arrival time is late in the day, the local minibus or public passenger ferries scheduled for Ko Lanta may not always be available. Location of Koh Lanta Koh Lanta yai ( big ) & Koh Lanta noi ( small ) are located in the Andaman Sea of South-West-Thailand ( Malayan Peninsula ), about 45 km south of Krabi-town in the Krabi province. ~ 7' 28" north latitude, ~ 99' 4" east longitude.

The islands are only one km away from the mainland and accessible by ferry / car-ferry all year round. The Koh Lanta district contains 53 islands which mainly are part of the Koh Lanta marine national park. moutain of ko lanta island Tourism in Koh Lanta As mentioned in chapter Development, the develoment of tourism is ongoing for the last 20 years.

The real ignition spark came about 6 years ago, when basic infrastructures arrived on the island. Every year since then, tens of new resorts, restaurants, shop etc. start their services along the west coast, right on the beach as well as at nearby mainstreets and hill sites.

Typical tourism "high season" is from November until May, with "paek season" from of December 20th until January 10th. Many businesses are opened all year round with very low prices during "low season", June until October.

This time of the year is wonderful, too. Tourist services of any style & for any budget are offered to the distinguished guest from around the world. Well, so much information to display about Koh Lanta's tourism - too much for this web-site.

Please refer to our Links to Ko Lanta for more details about accommodation, activities, transportation etc.

Here we would like to give you a brief overview of the "Tourist destination Ko Lanta". The tourist center of Ko Lanta is " Ban Saladan " at the northern tip of Koh Lanta yai. Many shops, supermarkets, travel agents, dive-shops, restaurants and other facilities make it worth to spend some good time there. For most tourist guests on the island, this cosy village is the first and the last place to see, whilst being on the island. Ferries to/from Krabi, Pee Pee and Phuket are departing and arriving at Ban Saladan pier, only.

All beaches on the west coast, in order from north to south : ( mentioned prices are estimated, average "high/low season" prices ) The first beach, "Klong Dow Beach", next to Ban Saladan, which is known to be the most beautiful beach, about 2 kilometer long, flat and white sanded.

There are about 20 resorts on this beach. Prices from 400 - 4500 THB per night. The second beach, " Phra Ae Beach or Long Beach ", about 5 kilometers long, nice and sandy.

There are about 17 resorts on this beach. Prices from 250 - 4500 THB per night. The third beach, " Klong Khong Beach ", 3 km long with sand and rocks. Great sunsets. There are about 22 resorts on this beach. Prices from 200 - 900 THB per night. The forth beach, " Klong Tob Beach ", a short strip with sand and rocks.

A very quiet beach with only a few bungalows around.
Prices from 250 - 1000 THB per night. The fifth beach, " Klong Nin Beach ", a beautiful 1,5 km long beach with about 10 bungalow resort.

The famous "Otto Bar" just moved to there, formerly located at Klong Dow Beach. Prices from 250 - 4800 THB per night.

The sixth beach, " Klong Hin Beach ", with sandy and rocky parts - good for snorkeling. Klong Hin Beach is about 1 km long and has 3 resorts so far. Prices from 250 - 2600 THB per night.

The seventh beach, " Kan Thiang Beach or Bay ", a beautiful, curved sandy beach, 800 meter long. The only 4+ star Resort and Spa "Pimalai" and 3 other resorts are located there.

Prices from 250 - 21000 (!) THB per night. The eighth beach, " Klong Jark Beach, a small and quiet beach, surrounded by tropical jungle. There are 3 resorts on this beach. Prices from 300 - 900 THB per night. The ninth beach, " Aow Mai Bai or Bamboo Bay " is the last beach outside the national marine park which is next to it.

A quiet and private beach with only 2 bungalow resorts. Prices from 250 - 800 THB per night. And last but not least the tenth and most southern beach, " Ta Noad Beach ", next to the old light-house, the landmark of Ko Lanta.
The Lanta marine national park head-quarter is located right at this beach. No resorts or other commercial facilities there. Ko Lanta is a diver's paradise for beginners and the experienced. There are very few places on the planet where divers can enjoy an underwater world so rich and diverse. And imagine learning to dive in water that's the same temperature as your bath water at home. Nature in Koh Lanta Ko Lanta island offers tropical nature at it's best..

The tropical paradise off the south-west coast of Thailand has 25 km of beautiful beaches backed by verdant jungle & rain forest. Here you still find real big trees, many animal species, including rare birds, mammals and reptiles.

More then 80% of the island are covered with tropical rain forest, which is mostly protected national-park area. The mangrove coast in south Thailand, covers sinking limestone ranges, millions of years old.

On Koh lanta there are many mangroves, which you can admire while going on a canoe-trip. Mangroves and intertidal mudflats are of great conservation value in Thailand, helping sustain valuable inshore fisheries and protecting the coast from erosion. If you arrive by car ferry, than watch out for monkeys, which are living here in the mangroves.

They are crab-eating macaques and one of the numerous mammal species living in this environment. Nature for a living, rubber tree and palm tree plantations: On Lanta are hundreds of rubber tree plantations, which are tapped every day before sunrise. The rubber then has to be dried, cleaned, and pressed, before being sold as 1,2 kg mats.

Coconut palms and oil palms are common on Koh Lanta as in the whole south of Thailand and they provide a modest income for the local farmers. Ko Lanta's rich waters offer sandy coves, coral reefs, limestone rock outcrops, rock reefs, seamounts and pinnacles, undersea caverns and tunnels and sunken ships.

Water temperature ranges from 27 to 31 degrees - ideal for scuba-diving, corals and tropical fishes. More than 200 hard corals and 108 reef fish species have been catalogues in a study under way, but thousands more organisms around, too. The twin peaks of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are rated in the worlds top 10 list of dive sites. While tourism has grown quickly in the last few years, Ko Lanta has retained its traditional charm and great natural beauty.

Holidays With Children Or Not? by Jack Blacksmith

After a year of non-stop work and stress, what could be more fun and relaxing than taking one of the many ocean trips on the Atlantic? You get to visit exotic ports of call and spend quality time with your spouse or significant other, just relaxing, eating good food, and spending time together. What could be better than taking one of these relaxing ocean trips? Not to alarm you, but your peace and relaxation can be quickly interrupted when you get hit in the head with a water balloon or squirt from a water gun beside the pool.

You can also feel a little stressed when you find older kids running around the decks, making you feel like you want to jump overboard. During these times, you may not feel that peace and relaxation that was mentioned in the first paragraph. Unfortunately, holidays with children and relaxation do not often come together in a cohesive whole. Whether you are a parent or not, you know that children can sometimes be irritating, simply because they act like children. If you are taking a cruise to relax and recuperate, then hearing kids and teenagers being loud and rowdy will not be something that you will appreciate or enjoy.
So should you just forget about taking that cruise if your main goal is to relax? No, but you do need to plan your trip carefully to help decrease the risk of spending your time with running and screaming kids. You need to first set your sights on a cruise line that does not offer planned children's activities. This may not seem the right way to go, because you want the kids to be entertained, but most families will not go on a cruise that does not have children's activities. This means that there will not be as many children or teenagers as there will be on the ships that offer these activities for the kids. Cruise lines that have activities that cater to the younger set are trying to win the younger ones over for future cruises and they want to sell as many staterooms and tickets as they can. By giving the parent's places where they can drop off their children, then the parents may bring the kids even if they had not really planned to.
When planning your trip, you want to refrain from taking a trip during times where children are out of school. Most parents will not take their kids out of school for a trip, so if you want to take a relaxing cruise, then you may want to not travel during the summer, spring break, or during the Christmas holidays or you may be taking your holidays with children. Choosing the right cruise line can make a big difference as well. Do not take trips on Princess, Carnival, or Disney Cruise lines, because they will have children's activities all through the year. You will want to stick with cruise lines like Crystal, Radisson, or Celebrity for your relaxing and peaceful cruise.
